Also comes with everything you need: displayport cable, DVI, and even an aux cord if you want to use the speakers with the DVI.
This definitely represents a great leap from 2012 to 2018 for me. It had started to work again while waiting for this one to come, so I started to second guess the purchase.until I hooked it up and WOW.

Replacing a 6 year old 1080P Asus 24" with weird backlighting issues. Pros: Very inexpensive for a 27" 2K monitor, purchased on sale for $180. I never understand the other reviewers dinging them - what do you expect from a monitor? BUY SPEAKERS. Yes, the speakers are terrible, but they are there in a pinch if you need them. Overall Review: - I would love to recommend this product to others, but this single issue is making it darn near unusable for me. Wishing I had splurged another $50 and gotten something one step above.

I'm hoping there is some setting I'm missing or something, but it's hooked up to a new computer build and Windows 10, and I've been through the Windows 10 display settings and the OSD settings without success. I know so little about display technology that I'm not sure if this is related to response time, refresh rate, or something else. I think it's called "ghosting?" Every webpage or document I scroll through is completely distracting - behind every word of text is a white "ghost" that remains for quite a long time - maybe a quarter or half a second. Finaly today I thought "What if I just hook it up with straight HDMI?" and IT WORKS! Hopefully you find this knowlage useful and won't suffer the same headachs I did.Cons: I'm usually prepared to accept what I pay for, but in this case I may have to buy another monitor. I tried all sorts of adapters to go from HDMI to Dual-link DVI and NONE of them got me real 1440p on the display (I could make a custom resolution in the Nvidia Control pannel, but it was 1440p squeezed through 1080p). DVI was straight forward enough, but I could find no evidence online that theK272HUL supported HDMI 2.0. The XB270HU needs display port and because I want to watch HD cable on as many montors as I can, I want to hook the K272HUL's up to the other connections. My EVGA 980ti has 1 DVI port, 1 HDMI 2.0 port, and 3 DisplayPorts.
I have a GTX 980ti, 2 Acer K272HUL's, and a Acer XB270HU monitor (a real review on that later perhaps). A little overview of my setup before we go on. BUT WMC does not recognize DisplayPort as a connection that supports HDCP. Now my imagination is hearing the hypothetical reader ask "But TheGeek, DisplayPort supports HDCP!" and your right. I have an HD Homerun Prime (sorry Canadian readers) and it NEEDS Windows Media Center to keep the chain of Copy Protection happy. The HDMI ports are HDMI 2.0! While you may be asking yourself "TheGeek, why arn't you using DVI or DisplayPort?" the answer is Media Center. And while that's not much of a review, I did just discover something I did not find on the official Acer page about this monitor. I have had this monitor for a while now and like it a lot (I've even bought a second one).
